What is Coyote Drive-In’s number one priority?

Your safety, of course! Please drive carefully and watch for children. Speed Limit is 5 MPH. Report any unsafe conditions to any staff member or security officer. We are here to help so just ask.

What time do you open?

We are open 7 days a week at 6 PM, showing a double feature on all three screens every night.

Do I get to watch two movies with one ticket? 

Yes! We show double features on each screen every night…that’s two full length movies, one after the other with a 10 minute intermission in between them.

How do I purchase tickets?

At the gate: you can purchase tickets with cash or credit card at the front gates starting at 6:00 PM.

Online: we recommend you purchase tickets online at www.coyotedrive-in.com. YOU CAN REDEEM YOUR TICKETS WITH THE CONFIRMATION CODE, THE CARD USED FOR THE PURCHASE OR PRINT OUT THE BAR CODE PAGE.

My online transaction failed but it looks like I was charged anyway…what gives?

In rare cases, usually if the transaction fails for some reason, the credit card company may place a temporary hold on the amount. (Sometimes listed on statement under “pending charges.”) It will fall off in 1-3 days. Please do not call until after 3 days…we cannot reverse a temporary hold.

What are your ticket prices?

General Admission is $8 for ages 11 and over, $6 for children 4 to 10. Children under 3 are free! (Prices subject to change.) You get TWO movies for that price.

Do you serve great food and drinks?

Absolutely! Please come hungry and thirsty. We have all kinds of options at reasonable prices available in the Coyote Canteen.

Do you sell beer and wine?

Yes. We have a wide variety of craft beers, domestic and imported beers along with carefully selected red and white wines plus champagne. PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY. NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL ALLOWED.

Do I need a movie ticket to get in the restaurant?

No ticket needed to enter the restaurant or playground. Come enjoy the atmosphere on our lushly landscape patio pavilion. We have big-screen TVs, great music, plenty of shade and spectacular views of beautiful downtown Fort Worth. YOU CANNOT ENTER THE THEATER WITHOUT A TICKET.

Can I bring my own food, snacks, and drinks?

Sorry, no outside food and drinks allowed. Drive-ins generate most of their revenue from food and drink sales so please come early and visit the restaurant. We sourced most of our offerings from local vendors and prices are reasonable.

How do I hear the movies?

We broadcast sound through our own FM frequencies. You will need to have a working car radio or boom box. If you arrive by foot, bike, bus or horse, we have areas at the front with stand-alone speakers so you can hear. FM capable music players are a plus!

What is your rain check policy?

We are open rain or (star)shine. We only offer rain checks if the weather prevents us from continuing to show the movie. Otherwise our screens are quite visible through rain. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We gladly accept cash, VISA/MasterCard, American Express, Discover and debit cards with the VISA/MasterCard logo. We do not accept checks.

Do you offer gift certificates or gift cards?

Not at this time. Working on it.

Can I bring my large vehicle, camper, bus, etc?

As long as it will fit in one standard sized parking space. If your vehicle is larger, you must go through group sales to see if we can accommodate your vehicle. Contact us and we will try to make it work.

Can I leave my car running during the show?

We understand that some cars need to stay running to run the radio, A/C, or Heater. Our Policy is you may keep your car running if you don’t have the following.

1. After market muffler
2. Diesel Engine
3. Running / Head lights that stay on
4. Unusually loud engine or fan

This is to ensure the best viewing possible for all our guest.

Can I sit outside of my car in lawn chairs?

You are welcome to sit anywhere outside your vehicle, in lawn chairs or on blankets. We do ask that you place lawn chairs in front of your car so that you do not take up additional parking. For safety and courtesy of others, we cannot allow you to sit on top of your vehicle.

Can I turn my SUV/ Van/ Truck around and open the hatch?

We want you to be as comfortable as you can while you watch your movies, so feel free to turn your vehicle around. Please be sure that your dome lights are turned off so not to bother other movie-goers and that your hatch does not obstruct the view of those behind you.

Can I switch screens during the night to watch a different movie?

Sorry, but we cannot allow you to change screens. We are bound by licensing agreements with the film companies and your ticket provides you with admission to one double-feature on one screen only. You are more than welcome to purchase an additional ticket to the other screen before the movies start or during intermission.

Do I have to stay for both movies? Can I arrive later for the second movie only?

Please feel free to arrive and leave at any time. Our box office remains open until approximately 15 minutes after the latest starting second feature. If you arrive for your movie after it has started, we do ask that you turn off your headlights so as not to bother the other patrons. The ticket prices are the same if you stay for both movies or only wish to see one. PLEASE DRIVE CAREFULLY WHEN ENTERING AND EXITING. Speed limit 5 MPH.

Can I bring my pets?

Yes! Here at Coyote Drive-In we always welcome the furry members of your family. We do ask that they are kept on a leash while outside your vehicle. Please clean up after your pet!

What if my car battery dies during the movie?

If your battery dies and you are unable to restart your car, please come to the Canteen and speak with any employee. We have portable battery chargers for your assistance.

Do you offer birthday/ party packages? What types of events do you host?

Yes, all kinds of packages for all types of events! Please contact [email protected] or click here. We can accommodate 20 to 5,000 people.

Do you sell cool Coyote Drive-In merchandise?

Yes, we have all kinds of awesome threads and fun things for your family! T-shirts, hats, koozies, blankets, coolers, chairs, toys, etc.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is allowed outside of the Coyote Canteen Restuarant area

Is there access from the Trinity River? Can I ride my bike, horse, or walk in?

You can walk in or ride your bike and purchase tickets at the ticket booth. There are folding chairs (first come first serve) at the screens and for purchase. Horse area is under design and construction.

Are you hiring?

Yes, we are looking for friendly folks with a great attitude looking to show you and your friends and family a great time. Please come by the drive-in Sunday thru Thursday before 2:00 PM to apply.
